Prepaid Card Vs Debit Cards

Prepaid Cards sometimes referred to as Prepaid debit Cards are more common today that they use to be five year ago. They are what I called a saving grace to most consumers because of the fact that they save you money.
They are payment cards that you pre-load with money before you can spend it.

Debit cards on the other hand, are payment cards that are referred to as bank cards and are linked to your current account.

Both type of cards eliminate the need to carry cash around when you are making purchases.

A Prepaid Card can also be called a General Purpose Reloadable card meaning you can reload cash into the plastic over and over again.

Whereas;

A Debit card is tied into you current or savings account so every time you use it for purchase, the money is drawn out of your account.

To get a Prepaid card, you do not have to have a current account but to get a Debit card, you will have to open a current account with a financial institution (a bank).

A prepaid card is more flexible in terms of functionality whereas, a debit card is more rigid.

A prepaid Card save consumers and businesses money when used appropriately whereas, a debit card carries charges from the bank when used in a certain way.

Individuals and Businesses can make money through helping Prepaid card companies to sell or promote a prepaid card product while they can not make money by helping to sell a debit card. If you are interested in making money through promoting a Prepaid Debit card, you can visit Prepaid Card Affiliate Programs.

To be a re-seller of a prepaid card, you can also join Prepaid Debit Card Reseller's Program.

I see the future of prepaid card taking over the plastic payment method in the near future.
